Your Guide To The Latest In Bodybuilding!

Sweat, Not Pills, For Exercise Fitness

Posted by admin on September 16, 2008

It seems like everyone these days wants some little pill or shake to miraculously keep them healthy, lean and muscular.  The general thought process has shifted from good old fashion sweat from intense workout programs and sound eating to placing all of your hopes in a medicine bottle.

The human body is an amazing creation.  It is built to handle many ups and downs in life, including many injuries and / or illnesses.  However, you’ve got to work with your body, not against it.  Many problems that people face today in regards to their personal health, or in how they look (degree of body fat they carry or amount of muscle mass they possess) is due to the lack of participating in regular and intense exercise routines and knowing how much food to eat day in and day out.

Lowered blood pressure, respiratory rate, pulse, insulin sensitivity, metabolism, etc., can all be enhanced by the right workout program.  Yet many lack the will, motivation, etc., to do this, and want to take the lazy route to health.  Now, let me make it clear that I’m not referring to the individuals that physically cannot perform certain exercise routines, like people who have suffered certain injuries or have certain medical conditions.  I’m referring to people who are very much able to workout, but choose not to do so.

You can’t expect to have a doctor prescribe you some type of medication and everything be okay.  Plus, most medications come with some degree of side effects.  Working out on a regular basis comes with no side effects.

Or, you may indeed need to be on prescriptions meds, but how about working with your body by enhancing the health effects and weight train on top of that.  You’ll feel more vitalized.  You’ll live longer and with a higher degree of quality.

You should aim at working out a good 3-5 hours per week.  And those 3-5 hours should be intense, high qaulity hours.  Not “diddle daddying in front of the TV on a bike for 3-5 hours” type of deal.  In my opinion, if by the end of the work out you aren’t sweating and your breathing isn’t raised, you didn’t work out hard enough.

Do it.  You’re body will thank you sooner rather than later!
